WHAT I'M DOING NOW
I now reside in Wales, on my 50-acre farm in a rural, tranquil setting, with my Welsh wife and four children. On my land I have 3 seperate period houses and the big white house we live in is a 300 year old listed building. There are also various outbuildings, barns and stables with acres and acres of mixed woodland with ash, beech and oak trees galore with a pretty river flowing through the woods in this my own little gold mine! And yeah! you've guessed it - as lord of the manor I'm enjoying living this "Superstar Lifestyle" out in the West Wales countryside.
HTV Wales soon found me and I starred in their TV series 'A Slice of Life' in a 40-minute documentary entitled 'Phil Fernando: Superstar', which was televised in 1993. The following year I appeared on two other TV shows on the S4C programme 'Heno'. I have also had acting roles on a number of TV soaps and dramas on BBC TV and HTV Wales.
More recently, I recorded a new album in 2003 entitled "The Versatile Phil Fernando" which my fans and I are delighted with as it features 6 of the best of my original songs.
Due for release later this year is another CD of mine on The RPL Record label featuring yet more original songs as well as some of my favorite Jazz standards to prove my versatility.
"Thank God" I never seem to stop working and I am still very active writing my own songs and performing with my own band, doing shows all over the country and my band is 'COOKIN' ON FAST GAS'!
